A Circle of Ceridwen Saga Story

A discarded child Fated to become a powerful Jarl – here is the story of Sidroc.

Fate guides the path of his father, Hrald, to his meeting with the woman whose son would help change the face of 9th century Angle-land. An ever-growing rivalry between Sidroc and his cousin Toki defines the boys’ early years. Their young uncle, Yrling, knows success as a raider in far-off Angle-land, and trains his nephews in the ways of the warrior. Ahead of them is the perilous crossing of the North Sea, which stands between them and the plunder they seek. Once on the great island of Angle-land, hard fighting awaits, through which Sidroc rises to second in command in the war-band headed by Yrling. Then, at their captured Saxon stronghold, comes the young woman for whom Sidroc will one day change his life…

I’ve just finished the 9th book in the Ceridwen saga and can’t believe there is no number 10. The story must continue – please.

Wow, at last a series of books I want to keep reading. I read a lot of historical novels and even though usually enjoy the first book i find the story wanes and characters get lost but with having finished the first three of the Circle of Ceridwen books i find myself eager to read more and more of them.
I thank Octavia for your writing of them.

I read all 8 books in a month if that gives you any indication of my enjoyment of your writing! Thank you for sharing this world, I truly felt pulled into it every time I sat down and opened a book. You are truly a master of your craft.

Ive just finished reading book 6 in the Circle of Ceridwen and have greatly enjoyed then, will there be any more books in this series?

Your name and books of the Ceridwen Saga came through to me on Facebook, and as I love history and went to my local library and asked them to get book 1, I have now read all 6 and trust there is a 7 and beyond soon. The library have now bought the Series, thanks to me I would say. Although I live in Australia, I came when I was 16 from Scotland. My paternal ggrandmother was from Orkney, and my DNA shows that 31% is Scandinavian. Loved the books, but I would like the cookery booklet, because I am interested in the browis, feel it may be something like our Scots Broth.
Anyway keep up the writing, I am planning a visit to scotland, and Orkney particularly, and plan on doing a Baltic Cruise next year. Cheers Irene

I have absolutely flown through all 7 books and, while I know the 7th was just released, am very much hoping there will be another. Thank you for all of your time and dedication to these works and their characters and how you have brought each of them to life. I am a huge Anglophile but this the first time I’ve traveled back as far as the 9th century but now want to stay here and learn more!

I received my book last night. Thank you for writing these amazing books. I can go into that world so easy, I’m sure I’m from there in some time. I have my daughter into them now. She is on the audio books. Love the cookbook also.
